Our collateral-free micro-loans are given exclusively to individual women entrepreneurs through women groups. These groups consist of 15-30 members from the local community and provide an accessible and supportive environment through which to manage their loans. They also offer a space for women to come together, exchange information, and gain financial awareness.

The group loans range from USD 250 - USD 2,100. Borrowers repay through weekly or bi-weekly installments during the group meetings. We complement the loans with services such as pre-disbursement orientation and financial literacy training to enhance our borrowers’ financial behavior. Our clients generally utilize their loans to buy productive assets, engage in rural trade, invest in micro businesses, and manage household emergencies. Group loans are a flagship of the BRAC model and constitute over 75% of BUBL loans.
